Description:

libdc1394 is a library that is intended to provide a high level programming interface for application developers who wish to control IEEE 1394 based cameras that conform to the 1394-based Digital Camera Specification of the 1394 Trade Association (1394-TA). The specifications can be found on this website. The library development is an open-source project (homepage sourceforge.net/projects/libdc1394) licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL). It was originally designed for the Linux platform but is now also compatible with OSX.
